COVID-19 HELPLINE: 0141 303 8968
Available to: all NHS and HSCP staff, including care home staff working in the statutory, independent and third sectors in the GG&C area, and volunteers supporting health and social care services. Also Scottish Ambulance Service staff based in GG&C.
Reciprocal arrangements are available for staff who would prefer to seek help through another Board.

Occupational Health Counselling Service provides support to staff with queries about their physical and mental health in relation to their fitness to work.

Staff Relaxation & Recuperation (R&R) Hubs offer members of staff the space to relax and recuperate away from their clinical work environments. Each hub has a Cafe Space, Active Space and a Quiet Space. Emotional support and opportunities for peer support are available. Clinical psychologists also provide face-to-face psychological support.

Locations: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital; Glasgow Royal Infirmary; Royal Alexandra Hospital; Inverclyde Royal.
Services open: 7 days a week.

Acute Psychology Staff Support Service offers 30-minute telephone or video sessions with clinical psychologists using NearMe (Attend Anywhere) technology.

Sessions are offered 7am-10pm, Mon-Fri, with some availability at weekends.

NHS GGC Chaplaincy Service offers support, with a focus on bereavement and loss.
Available to: all NHSGGC staff, patients and relatives

Service open: 9am-10pm, 7 days a week.

NHS GG&C Mindfulness App can be used free of charge to share information and practices in a blended approach on an ongoing basis to support staff.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) provides online mindfulness sessions to supports resilience among staff.
Sessions run 8.15pm-9pm every Thursday

Support and Information Services provide confidential advice on health, wellbeing and financial support. They can assist with emergency food, fuel and money concerns, as well as information and referral to a wide range of community services such as carers, money and debt advice.

Staff working at NHSLJ retain access to all of the health and wellbeing support already available within their own Board setting.

Staff can access the NHS Connect Portal which is a national system accessible to all Boards and their workforce.

‘Sanctuary’ is a safe space located within the main NHSLJ site which is accessible 24 hours a day.

Pastoral Care Service is available from chaplaincy services within the site.

Psychological support for staff is being arranged in addition to any service of this type which staff may access via their own Board provision.
