There are a number of services available to the whole of Fife:

Fife Staff Support including psychological advice and support

Available to: all NHS and HSCP staff, including care home staff working in the statutory, independent and third sectors in the Fife area, and volunteers supporting health and social care services.
Reciprocal arrangements are available for staff who would prefer to seek help through another Board.

 

NHS Fife intranet provides a “Staff Wellbeing During COVID-19 Resource”, “COVID-19 Staff Support Psychology Resources Pack”, “Staff Wellbeing Handbook”, FAQs & general mental health and wellbeing support.

Staff Communications App (StaffLink, Powered by Blink) provides the latest news, information and guidance from across NHS Fife.
Instructions on how to sign up and download the app to mobile devices is available on NHS Fife intranet.
Access, via a personalised code, is being developed for staff who don’t have NHS mail (please see your line manager).

Department of Spiritual Care provides informal support in clinical settings across all hospital sites, face-to-face or by telephone.
Available to all NHS staff

Department of Spiritual Care Listening Service provides a telephone listening service.
Available to: NHS, H&SCP and Fife Council staff, all social care staff including care home staff and Fife-based ambulance staff.
Simply text your name to 07813 340137. You will then be contacted by phone within one working day to provide you with the support you need.

Here For You phone line offers psychological support to Scottish Ambulance Service staff.

NHS Fife Going Beyond Gold Programme offers free online mindfulness sessions by an accredited mindfulness teacher.
