There are a number of services available to the whole of Dumfries and Galloway:

COVID-19 HELPLINE: 01387 241 303 

 Available to all NHS and HSCP staff, including care home staff working in the statutory, independent and third sectors in the Dumfries and Galloway area, and volunteers supporting health and social care services.

Reciprocal arrangements are available for staff who would prefer to seek help through another Board.

Staff Support Phone line offers psychological support for Scottish Ambulance Service staff.

Spiritual Care and Wellbeing provides a staff listening service.

Time of Remembering to remember those who have died, are bereaved or are isolated during pandemic.

Every Friday, 4pm, at the Sanctuary, DGRI

Dumfries & Galloway Council intranet (SharePoint) provides a range of Covid-19 health and wellbeing guidance, support, tips and resources for all Council employees.

Human Resources provide a dedicated Covid-19 HR advice service.

Resilience Support Service (Genesis) provides confidential telephone or Skype counselling, with advice on self-care, mental health and wellbeing resources, and coping techniques.

Volunteer Mental Health Champions are fully trained to provide employees with confidential support and signposting.

Citizens Advice Bureau offers local help with debt or money worries.

Financial Wellbeing Hub (available until June 2020) provides help with reducing expenses, managing credit and borrowing, and advice on mortgage holidays.

Be Mindful provides an online mindfulness course to improve mental health & wellbeing.

Feeling Good App provides a series of audio tracks with essential skills to improve mental & physical health and build personal resilience.

Username and password can be accessed through the Wellbeing section of @SAS.

Chaplain offers a confidential listening service to support staff (regardless of religious belief)

Available to: All ambulance service staff nationally

Text ‘Shout’ to be put in touch with a trained Crisis Volunteer who will chat to you using trained techniques via text
